Exciting news for all New Jersey library patrons! boundless is here to bring you an incredible collection of ebooks and audiobooks. With boundless, everyone with a Moorestown Library card has the key to a treasure trove of digital titles for adults and children. Whether on a PC/Mac or using an iOS and Android device, boundless is ready to go wherever you are.

- For First-Time Users: You must enter your Moorestown Library card number. If you’re using the mobile app, search for Moorestown Library, enter your library card number, and tap login. If you’re a new user, you’ll be prompted to create an account.

Getting Started with hoopla
- Visit hoopla: Go to the hoopla digital website or download the hoopla apps (links below).
- Create Your Account: The first time you visit hoopla, you’ll need to set up an account. It’s quick and easy! Just enter your email address, choose a password, and provide your library card number. That’s it!
- Log In: After setting up your account, you’ll use your email address and password to log in to hoopla in the future.
- Enjoy hoopla Anywhere:
- On Your Computer: Watch or listen to your favorite titles directly in your web browser on a PC or Mac.
- On the App: If you’re using the hoopla app on your mobile device, you have the option to stream content or download it for offline viewing. Perfect for entertainment on the go!

Borrowing information
Library cardholders are allowed to borrow up to 6 items every calendar month. It doesn’t matter how many of each type of item you have. You can check out any combination of movies, eBooks, audiobooks, comics, and music.
Borrowing periods:
- Ebooks, comics, and audiobooks: 21 days
- Music albums: 7 days.
- Movies and television shows: 3 days.
The titles will automatically expire – you do not need to return them.
Bonus Borrows
In order to provide more content to patrons during this difficult time, hoopla has announced the Bonus Borrows Collection with more than 1,000 top titles and hoopla favorites. These titles don’t count against your monthly limit, so borrow away! Access the Bonus Borrows Collection.

How Kanopy Works:
- Viewing Credits: You get 8 credits every month to watch amazing videos. These credits refresh on the first day of each month but don’t carry over.
- Play Credits: Each video costs 1 credit to play. However, Kanopy Kids videos are exempt and don’t require any credits!
- Watch Time: Once you use a credit, you have 3 days to watch the video as many times as you want, even if your credits reset with the new month.

Your library card opens the door to unlimited, complimentary access to the digital edition of The New York Times. Here’s how to get started:
Access Inside the Library:
If you already have an NYTimes.com account: Simply log in using your existing email address and password.
If you’re a first-time user: Look for the option labeled “Create Account” to start the registration process. You’ll be prompted to fill out a form with your personal details. Please make sure to remember your username and password, as the library cannot retrieve these details for you.
Access from Anywhere Else:
- Activate Your Pass: For 24-hour access, click on the “NYT Digital Access” link below (note: you can activate a new pass only after any previous pass has expired).
- Click Redeem: Follow the prompts to redeem your 24-hour pass.
- Sign In or Register:
- If you don’t have an account, click “Create Account,” fill out the registration form, and make a note of your username and password. (The library cannot assist in retrieving these details later.)
- If you already have an account, log in as usual.
- Confirmation: After successfully claiming your pass, you’ll see a confirmation message below and receive an email confirmation. Now, you can enjoy unlimited access to NYTimes.com for the next 24 hours.

Borrowing Periods and Access:
- Loan Periods: Choose between 7 or 14 days for each checkout.
- Limits: Patrons are allowed 6 borrows and 5 holds at a time.
- Download Restrictions: Please note that downloads cannot be transferred to library computers.
As a library card holder, you have complimentary online access to the Wall Street Journal from the Moorestown Library. You are are not permitted to share the sign-on credentials with any other person. Any violation of this clause will result in Dow Jones terminating access.
First time users: Create your account. You’ll be prompted to fill out a form with your personal details. Please make sure to remember your username and password, as the library cannot retrieve these details for you. Access will be available for the next three days.
Returning users: After 3 days, simply come back and click the above link again. Login as an existing user with the same username and password you originally created.
Reader’s Corner
Explore the wonders of literature and embark on new adventures at the Reader’s Corner, your special section dedicated to enriching minds and sparking imagination.
This collection, a thoughtful gift from the Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club, is an excellent resource for new adult and young adult readers, as well as for English as a Second Language (ESL) students and their tutors. It includes a variety of materials such as reference books, a newspaper, workbooks, and a mix of fiction and nonfiction books available for borrowing. This diverse assortment offers an engaging and educational experience for its users.
Evening Book Club
Join us for an Evening Book Club, every other month, featuring a title from our Book Group in a Bag collection. One of our librarians will select the title and host the club. Copies will be available at the Adult Reference desk. Registration is required. Please check our monthly event calendar for more details.
Outdoors Book Club
The library also offers an Outdoors Book Club. Each month, the group will meet at Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area, go for a short walk (although walking is not required), and discuss a book of your choice. This is a great way to learn about different books and meet other nature enthusiasts.
Please see the reference desk for a list of suggested science/nature titles to check out. Reading a science/nature book is not required and everyone is welcome, even those who haven’t read a book.
The group meets every third Thursday of the month at 2pm. Location is subject to change. In case of inclement weather, those registered will be emailed in advance if there is a change in location. During winter months we will meet at the library. Registration is required.
Silent Book Club
Adults are invited to join us for a Silent Book Club. Visit the cozy seating area, near the back of the library, at 7pm on the second Thursday of every month. The group will meet for a brief, pleasant conversation. Afterwards, you’re invited to stay and quietly read. This is a wonderful way to carve out some quiet time with a good book.
The Friends of the Library holds its very popular Used Book Sales twice a year at the Library. Book donations are accepted year-round at the Library. All proceeds benefit the Library.

Novelist lets you search among hundreds of thousands of popular fiction and readable nonfiction titles by using a favorite author or title to find other books of interest. You can retrieve author read-alikes, book lists, book discussion guides, and more. Lexile range searching is available in the advanced search page.
NoveList K-8 Plus focuses on nonfiction reading materials that support the school curriculum, as well as the recreational reading interests of children and students from preschool through middle school. Lexile range searching is available in the advanced search page.
