Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Do you have ideas for new library programs or services? Are you interested in presenting your own programs at the library? TAB is a volunteer and advisory group where members work with our librarians to make recommendations and help develop and present new programs together. Bring your creativity, have your voice heard, make new friends, and grow your leadership skills while earning community service hours. To participate, please complete the Teen Volunteer application found at the bottom of this page. Should you need it, additional copies will be available at our meetings. Remember, a Moorestown Library card is required, and your parent or guardian must sign your application.
Please click the button below to fill out and submit your Teen Volunteer Application and to register for TAB meetings. If you are already a member of TAB use the TAB Signup Genius to volunteer for upcoming TAB programs.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Summer Volunteer – The library needs volunteers to help us run our Summer Reading program. Volunteers listen to children report books, hand out prizes, and help with special projects such as programs or craft prep as needed. If you have completed the volunteer application (located below this page), you will receive an email the end of the school year to select your days and times through Signup Genius. Volunteers sign up for 2 or 3 hour shifts. You may select 1-2 shift per day and up to a limited number for the summer. Later, if space permits, you will be invited to sign up for additional shifts. This volunteer program is only available during the summer months.
Library Volunteer (Special Projects) – Throughout the school year, the library needs volunteers to help with special projects such as book sales or children’s programs. We keep a list of volunteers and invite them to sign up for these opportunities through the Teen Library Volunteer Signup Genius. If you have completed the volunteer application (located below this page) and it has been accepted, you are on the list. You may select up to a limited number of volunteer slots for the school year. Later, if space permits, you will be invited to sign up for additional shifts.
NOTE: The teen library volunteer program uses Signup Genius for students to sign up for volunteer slots. The student’s email provided in your teen volunteer application is where all notifications will be sent and is the only email that will be accepted when you sign up. The expectation is that students will show up for all volunteer time slots they sign up for. If you cannot, as soon as possible, please cancel the volunteer time slot through Signup Genius or email the Youth Services Librarians at youth@moorestownlibrary.org. Students who miss 2 volunteer time slots without any notification to the library will be taken off the volunteer list until they speak with the Head of Youth Services, Jen Dunne, about their situation.
Getting Credit for Your Volunteer Work
You will need to fill out your school’s community service hours form and email it to youth@moorestownlibrary.org. We will check your hours and email you back a signed copy.
